What Version of the software is covered?
One of the benefits of the classes is to learn about new features and enhancements. Training classes always use the most recent version of the software. If for some reason you have not received or installed the most recent version, we encourage you to contact the support department prior to attending the class.
Is this a hands-on class?
All regional classes are conducted in computer labs with each person having a PC. The combination of presentation/demonstration with hands-on exercises really enhances the learning experience.
Will the classes be over my head?
Although we have designed both days with the beginner in mind, some experience with DonorPerfect is a major asset to classroom learning. Particularly if you are brand new to the software, and are also brand new to non-profit development, you may find the classes to be overwhelming. In this case, we recommend that you take 1 or 2 hours of our web-based Virtual On-site training to get oriented to the software prior to the classes.
Should I take both classes?
The two classes together represent a thorough grounding in the software. Most people should take both days. You may want to take just the Filters and Reports day if you have a good understanding of how and where data is being entered at your office, and are not directly responsible for entering donors and gifts.
What is the class size?
To ensure that all attendees get personal attention, class size is typically limited to 12-15.

What if none of these dates or locations are convenient for me?
The dates and locations are determined mostly from client feedback, so give us a call (888-220-8111) if you would like to suggest a date or location. Keep in mind, however, that in order to make the classes economical we need to have at least 8 attendees; so, a site must be geographically convenient to a sufficient number of clients.
Will I be able to address specific problems/questions I have?
Bring them with you! Many valuable insights come from the questions and answers. In fact, another benefit of the class is the ability to share ideas and solutions with other users.
That said, don't forget that for most questions and problems it will be faster and easier to call our support department while you are at your computer.
What is covered in the classes?
As you can see from the agenda, the classes cover the most widely used modules of the software. Although we try to accommodate particular interests of the attendees, don't expect to cover every aspect of your organization's specific use of the products. For more specialized topics, see our schedule of webinars or call for personalized training.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations made within five business days will result in a $100 cancellation fee.
