DPMobile Release: Mobile Monthly Giving, Improved Search and Better Security
In the new version of DPMobile released last week, Android and IOS users alike will appreciate the enhanced security of being able to log out of the application via the side “hamburger” style menu. They’ll also be sure to take advantage of the expanded search capabilities included in this release. Lastly, iOS users can now enter pledge and recurring payments using DPMobile.
Monthly Giving Goes Mobile (iOS Only)
Earlier this month, we announced changes to the Monthly Giving feature in DonorPerfect that made processing recurring gifts much easier. This release in DPMobile builds on that. DPMobile now supports monthly giving by allowing you to select a “One-Time” or “Monthly” payment during a transaction. A monthly transaction creates a new pledge with a monthly recurrence in DP, a client vault in the payment gateway, and submits the first payment all from the app. Thanks to you, our clients, for the great idea!

Search on Telephone, Email, Spouse and Optional Line
When you’re on the road, you need to find donor information fast! Searching is now even easier with the inclusion of the donor’s spouse, optional line, email address and telephone number fields. Entering a ten digit phone number or email address automatically searches the donor’s telephone or email fields, including those in other address entries. This will definitely improve your fundraising productivity when coupled with DPMobile’s ability to just tap the email and call buttons to instantly connect with donors!
We’ve also added a new logout option in the “hamburger” menu. Selecting logout removes your DonorPerfect username and password preventing further access until new credentials are provided.
