Coral Acres is NOT a Real Nonprofit!

WE MADE IT UP.

Why Create This Site?

As a nonprofit, you need a simple, clear way for people to give you money and get involved with your organization. We’ve developed this fictional donation microsite, Coral Acres, to inspire your creativity. Throughout the site, we demonstrate how to use online forms to build a recurring donor base and attract new supporters to your cause. You’ll also see how to increase volunteer participation, manage event registration, boost membership, and much more.

Individual Forms
Build a community around your nonprofit via Peer to Peer fundraising! This form provides individual fundraising pages for donors to personalize and share with friends and family.Crowdfunding forms handle donor data the same way other donation forms do. If a donor is new to your organization, DonorPerfect creates a new donor record. Crowdfunding forms allow you to customize Thank You Letter, campaign, solicitation, and other codes. DonorPerfect stores them in the donor’s individual gift record. Personalized fundraising pages default to the codes used on the Organizational form.
Donation FormsOur one time donation or recurring gift form templates are designed to help you collect contributions and build a recurring donor base.If a donor is new to your organization, their donor record will be created in DonorPerfect. All forms can be customized to enter Thank You Letter, campaign, solicitation, and other codes on the individual gift record for filtering and reporting in DonorPerfect.
Event FormsEvent forms help you manage various types of events (e.g., dinners, auctions, golf outings, etc.) and collect detailed attendee and guest information. If you use our Event Management module and the forms integrated with it, event information is stored and managed from there. Otherwise, event payments are stored on the donor’s Gift record.
Event Follow Up SurveyThe Event Follow Up survey gathers attendee feedback about your event. Not only will it help you evaluate this year’s event, but you can use the data to plan for next year.Survey responses for the event are stored in the Other Info tab of a single “Survey” donor record, providing all feedback in one self-contained donor record.
Event Volunteer FormsEvent volunteers take on tasks that allow your staff to focus on other event activities. You can use this form to collect event volunteer availability, interests, and contact information.Event volunteer information is stored on the Bio screen.
Golf Event FormsGolf events offer enormous potential for raising funds and are a unique opportunity to connect with donors in person. Organize the registration for your next golf event using our Golf Event form. This golf form is for use by clients who don’t have or don’t wish to use DPO’s Event Management function. Additional golfer or sponsor information is stored in the Gift Record in DPO.
Membership FormsCreate forms with different membership levels for new memberships, renewals and even gift memberships.Donor membership information is updated in the member section of the Main tab of the donor’s record.
Volunteer FormsMake volunteering at your nonprofit easy by collecting contact volunteer information, hours worked, availability and interests with our volunteer forms. Our volunteer forms store volunteer information, like volunteer interests and availability on the Bio tab of the donor’s record. ‘Volunteer hours worked’ is tracked on the Other Info tab.
Paver Sponsor FormsOur Paver Sponsor form allows you to offer inscribed fundraising bricks or pavers. In addition to paver sales, this form can be easily adapted to suit other fundraising item sales.Information about the fundraising item, such as quantity, type and inscription, is stored in the donor’s Gift Record.

Best Practices for Email Receipts

Engagement is at its highest during the donation process. The email receipt you send to an online donor might be the first interaction you have with them. Providing some key information in the email receipt can help donors stay engaged and might even encourage their next gift.

Consider Including These Items in Your Email Receipt’s Header or Footer:

To add these or other items, edit either the Header or Footer (or both) of the Email Receipt on your donation form.

Say “Thank You”.

Provide links to special programs donors might be interested in as a follow-up.

Include current contact information and social media accounts.

Share how donated funds will be used.

Encourage constituents to see if their company will match their donations.

All forms used on this site were created using templates that come included with the standard version of DonorPerfect Online Forms.

*To add unique fields, reorder sections, perform other customization and use Crowdfunding forms, consider upgrading to DonorPerfect Online Forms Plus or have our skilled team of designers create your form.
