Hi, my name is Amy Sloane, and I work for a nonprofit retirement community in Virginia. And we are very happy DonorPerfect customers. And we have used our imperfect, actually for over 10 years. So I just wanted to tell you a little bit about the things that I really like and appreciate particular about DonorPerfect. So first and foremost, their customer service is truly second to none. And that goes for every department, everyone I’ve ever spoken with, in any capacity with Anna perfect has been just phenomenal and provided excellent customer service. They truly care about their clients and meet their needs. And I just couldn’t be any happier with that, in particular, their support team is fabulous. And that’s just who I happen to deal with the most when I do need to reach out to someone with DonorPerfect.
I remember the first time I needed to find some data, and run a run a report that I wasn’t really sure how to do. And I didn’t think I could do that with one of the standard reports that is offered. So I reached out to the support team. And I remember thinking like, oh my gosh, like, this is gonna take forever, they’re probably gonna have to create some kind of custom report for me like it’s going to be such a pain.
And I was pleasantly surprised that that was not the case at all. I would say literally within like five minutes, they were able to they understood exactly what I was asking for. And they were like, yeah, here, give me one second, and I’ll type out the step by step instructions on how to get that data. And I was just blown away that they did it so quickly. And that I literally just followed the really easy steps that they provided, and, and got the data. So it was phenomenal. Because as we know, with nonprofits, you know, time is so valuable. And a lot of us are short staffed and only have a limited amount of staff and there are only a certain number of hours in the day. So not wasting a ton of time on that was just so appreciate it, appreciate it. And literally every time I have gone to them and said the same thing, I had the same result, they completely understand what I’m asking for. And they’re like, Absolutely, we know how to do that. So just the fact that they’re so knowledgeable about their software and that their support team is so well trained, is so so helpful. And like I said, so appreciated on so many different levels. So that’s definitely like my number one thing with DonorPerfect, but I also really like the different functions
that are so customizable as far as like the different donor records the different screens within the donor records. As I mentioned, we have been done or perfect clients for many years. And DonorPerfect was already in place when I actually joined the organization six years ago. So you know, obviously on the front end, you can customize things when you first switch over DonorPerfect or start using it if you’re a startup. But I was pleasantly surprised yet again, to learn that I could make changes to the different screens and donor records and add fields, remove fields that are obsolete, all of that kind of thing. And it was incredibly simple yet again.
And there are so many like step by step instructions on how to do that already available to clients. So I was able to go in and look up like how to do XYZ or how to add a field how to remove a field, how to place it in a certain place, how to rearrange fields, just so that our processes could be streamlined. And things made the most sense for us. Because the world is ever evolving as our needs in terms of
you know what data is relevant and important for us to collect and know and be able to access easily about our donors. So just the fact that it’s so easy to go in and customize, you know, many many years later, after having integrated into the software and started using it to begin with is just so awesome and invaluable. But as I said before, you know even if the instructions were not able to be found
the support team is phenomenal. And you can literally go to them and say look, I want the screen to look like this. I want there to be field here. I’m gonna take this field away. And if you can’t figure out how to do it yourself, they will totally help you. doesn’t cost anything extra
They’re just there to help if you’re a client, so it’s just, it’s so impressive and it’s so helpful, save so much time. And let’s be honest, it makes life so much nicer when you call Customer Support at any company and you get a friendly voice, who actually acts like they want to help you and they’re truly there for you. So those are my two favorite things about DonorPerfect. The price is right for us. Obviously, over the years, you know, we’ve been approached by other similar companies that provide similar software services, but there has been nothing that has been worth it to us to change I mean even like some of the special deals and things that are offered.
Even like the bells and whistles that they try to promote like, we have never once considered switching from DonorPerfect because we are that happyRead Less
