Can PayPal be used for fundraising?

This integration allows you to collect donations via PayPal and Venmo via desktop, tablet, and mobile! How do I make a PayPal donation link?

If your fundraising CRM integrates with PayPal, you should be able to create a PayPal donation button using your online forms feature. If you are collecting one-time PayPal donations via DonorPerfect Donation Forms, new gift information will flow directly into your CRM without any manual data entry. To get started, simply turn on the PayPal functionality within your DP Donation Forms and connect your PayPal business account. If you don’t have one yet, create your PayPal business account straight through your DP Donation Form Builder.

When will I receive my funds?

Funds are available in your PayPal business account instantly. Funds can settle to a bank account on file in as little as 48-72 hours.

What NPO name will the donor see on their bank statement?

The transaction will show the legal business name that the NPO has registered with the PayPal business account.

Will my donations through PayPal/Venmo show up in my gateway?

These donations will show up in DonorPerfect, but they are processed through PayPal and accordingly will not show in your gateway.

Will my fees be charged by SafeSave through DonorPerfect?

No, your fees will be levied directly through PayPal, with the net amount after fees being added to your account.
