How does it work?
Visitors to your website simply click a link to your WebLink form. Forms can consist of one or more steps, and can include transaction options and/or payment processing. Once completed, your constituent is automatically emailed an acknowledgement or receipt, personalized with your branding and messaging. You can also set WebLink to email a BCC to you or other people you designate.
Once collected, data is easily reviewed and downloaded from WebLink’s acceptance center. Form data is mapped to your DonorPerfect Installed or DonorPerfect Online system, making it easy to access, filter and sort for reporting. All online payments are automatically processed and deposited in your designated bank account, typically within 24-48 hours.
Can I change or create WebLink forms myself?
When used with DonorPerfect Online, WebLink offers a “do-it-yourself” library of templates that you can use to easily and quickly create new forms which you can alter yourself. This saves you form setup and change costs, and also allows you to create live forms in minutes. You can also upgrade to WebLink Pro for additional capabilities, including the ability to add new and unique form fields yourself. Or, you can always request that we create or alter your forms for you (additional costs apply). For DonorPerfect Installed, forms must be created by our staff. Are there limits to the number of forms I can have?
There are no limits to the number of forms you can have. Using DonorPerfect Online, you can create or copy as many forms as you need – there’s no extra cost or fees for forms created, duplicated or edited by you. If you want us to create or edit your forms, additional costs apply. For DonorPerfect Installed, additional forms are available for $120 per year, plus setup costs.
Do I need to have a website?
Typically, WebLink forms are linked to client websites. But you can place links to your forms from any external site, or multiple sites. You can also send links to your forms via email and social media sites.
Can I use my existing credit card merchant account?
We have integrated and partnered with a leading credit card processor who can provide the necessary online merchant account for organizations that wish to process credit cards. Integrating with other processor merchant accounts is possible, but generally cost-prohibitive.
Is constituent data protected?
The service operates on a secure server and complies with Visa/MasterCard regulations for real-time credit card processing.
