Mission Research, the creator of GiftWorks fundraising software, was recently acquired by FrontStream Payments, a private-equity backed company that has also acquired JustGiving and ArtezInteractive. Under this new ownership, fees are rising and previous versions of GiftWorks will be disabled, leaving many users stranded without access to their database software unless they upgrade and pay higher fees.
