Release Announcement: Easily Add Discount Codes to Your WebLink Online Forms

Easily add discount codes to your WebLink online forms. A new version of WebLink was released today that will include the ability to use discount codes in your online forms. Once the option is enabled for your system, you can offer these codes to your donors to encourage them to participate in different fundraising campaigns by offering early bird registration discounts, VIP discounts or member discounts. Using discount codes in your online forms is a great way to track and measure the effectiveness of your solicitations, boost event registrations and increase donor engagement. Here’s how to get started:

Adding a Discount Code to Your WebLink Online Forms

  1. Start by editing your form in the WebLink RAC..
  2. Under Additional Items, click Discounts.
  3. Click Add New Code to get started.Now you can quickly add discount codes to your WebLink online forms
  4. Enter your code information and click Save.
  5. Once your code is created, check Enable Discount Codes to View on the Form. This will allow a “Enter Promo Code:” box to display on your form so your donors can enter their code.

When Can I Expect To See Discount Codes Activated?

The Discount Codes option is being deployed to all WebLink systems in a phased approach, with all systems expected to have the feature by the beginning of April.

This release of WebLink also features the introduction of product walk-throughs available through a small pop-up menu in the lower right side of your screen. Clicking on the “Walk Me Through” menu displays a searchable library of WebLink related product walk-throughs and videos. They provide comprehensive step-by-step guidance that doesn’t require you to leave the screen.  Over the next few weeks, we’ll be adding fresh content to the library of product walk-throughs and videos available. Be sure to check back often for new items!

  1. Thank you for this information. The email sent to me said that this feature has now been activated on my system, but I don't see it yet. I looked for Discount Codes in the Additional Choices drop-down on three existing forms, two Event Mgt integrated forms and one not integrated. I also tried logging out and back in and looking again, and I don't see it. Is something that is available only as new forms are created? Please advise. Thanks.
    • Hi C.J. That's great news that you're already trying to apply the Discount Codes feature to your forms! I know this is something that a lot of our clients are excited about using. I spoke to one of our developers about your system and you should see it activated sometime tomorrow. We apologize for any confusion. If you still don't see it by then, please give us a call.
